"The show is meant to capture the space's unique visual history in a time when a lot of New York City is vanishing. While the roster of Chelsea Hotel residents reads like a who's who in the art world, for many of them it's about the ability to bring their visions to life. Photographer Ralph Gibson created his first Lustrum book while living in the hotel in the early 1970's, while Magnum photographer's Henri Cartier Bresson and Inga Morath also lived in the hotel, as well as Robert Mapplethorpe. There are sixty photographers in the exhibition ranging from living currently in the hotel to those from Germany, France, Spain among other world-wide locations. The images vary from editorial, portraiture to personal work." Linda Troeller, "A Room With A View: Chelsea Hotel turns 125," Chelsea Now, March 28, 2008
